(II) Chapter 6

I woke up the next morning, the light from outside blinding my vision. After I adjusted, I realised with joy that my baby was still by my side. My baby. It felt so good to think of him that way.

I had my head on his chest. I looked up at his handsome face and caressed his chin. He slowly opened his eyes and smiled down at me.

“Hey.” I murmured and kissed his chest.

“Hey.” he kissed my forehead.

We were silent for sometime, cuddling. Then I spoke:

“So,” I started, “Are we a couple now?” I asked, looking up at him. He smirked.

“Get closer.” he whispered and his hand slid down my back to the back of my thighs. He lifted my lap and put it across him.

“Hmm, someone’s hard this morning.” I cooed, feeling the bulge in his pants. He smirked.

“I’m always hard recently.”

“Hmmm. Gives me naughty thoughts.”

He smiled then looked at me in the eyes.

“It depends. Do– do you want us to be one?” he asked slowly, referring to the question I’d asked earlier. I stared at him and for the first time, I could read his expression. It was one of doubt. He was doubting my answer. He didn’t know if I would say yes or no.

“No, you tell me. Do you?” I asked, “My answer depends on yours.”

He was afraid that he might say
yes and I no. He wasn’t still sure about all this. He didn’t trust me completely because he didn’t want to be disappointed again. And I understood him. I would make him trust me blindly. Because I already trusted him blindly. I was ready to do anything for him and he had to be ready to do same for me.

“Anthonio, tell me if it’s what you want. Are we a couple now?” I insisted in a low voice.

He stared down and me. He was so handsome and looked so confused, it hurt to think that he’d lived as a mentally unstable human being for a long time. He was slowly beginning to feel like normal people should.

“I think we are.” he murmured and my heart skipped a bit and I bit my bottom lip, “Are we?” he added.

“Yes.” I replied quickly, a smile spreading across my face, “Yes yes yes.” I giggled and he chuckled.

“Then we’re together.” he said and I knew it seemed like a whole new thing to him.

“Yes. You’re my man now.” I giggled and playfully pinched his nipple.

“Ow...” he muttered with a chuckle, “Hope you won’t complain if I pinch your nipple too.”

“I won’t mind at all.” I cooed, “Do whatever you want with me. I can take it all.” I teased.

He was gonna say something when there was suddenly a knock at the door. We both froze.

“Answer.” he whispered, “I locked the door yesterday night.”

“Who is it??” I asked aloud.

“Open the door.” one of the guards said. I looked at Anthonio.

“Go and open it.”

“Shh. It’s surely because you haven’t made breakfast yet. Don’t worry about me. Go open the door.”

I stared at him, hesitating but then he insisted I open the door. I stood up and when I was halfway across the room, I turned and looked at him to be sure. He winked at me and I melted. Then I went towards the door and opened it. The man stood there. He looked over my shoulder and into my room. I stopped breathing.

“Why are you getting up late today.” he asked and I was suprised. My first reaction was to turn and look at my bed. Anthonio was gone. My mouth dropped slightly open.

“Are you listening?” the guard drew my attention back to him

“I’m sorry. I wasn’t feeling too well this morning.” I lied.

“Well find a way to prepare breakfast as soon as possible. It’s an order from the members and the boss.”

I almost choked.

“The boss? He’s back?”

He was gone for a day and bam! He was already back to spoil my day.

“Okay. I’ll be down in a jiffy. Lemme freshen up.”

The man nodded and walked away. I closed my door behind him.

“Baby?” I whispered, looking around for Anthonio. He was no where to be found and that’s when I noticed that my balcony’s door was open.

“Of course.” I muttered. He’d left through the balcony a long time ago.

After making breakfast for the members and putting the food on the table, I was gonna retire to my room when one of the guards came to me.

“Go and change into some lingerie. The boss wants me to bring you to him now.” there was suddenly a lump in my throat.

“Uh... um okay.”

He let me pass and then he followed me. I walked into the dining room and Anthonio was at the table with the others. He immediately looked up at me, understanding there was something fishy. I looked at him so he would understand where I was being escorted to. Then I looked straight ahead so no one would notice anything. I just hated that monster’s presence.

I was kneeling in that cold room in only a pair of panties and a matching bra, pantie hose and high heels. I knew that monster was right there staring at me.

“So honey, did you miss me?” he hissed like a dirty snake. I didn’t reply and he laughed hideously, “Wait till I’m done with you, then you’ll answer. I’m in quite a good mood today.”

That wasn’t good news.

I felt the man approach me and when he lay his hands on my breasts, l froze.

But just at that moment, someone walked into the room.

“I’ve told you to learn how to knock boy.” I heard the boss say.

“You’ll excuse me but I have something important to tell you concerning Rudolfo.” Anthonio replied.

On hearing his voice I knew I was saved. It was me and him now. Protecting each other as much as possible.

“I’m busy.” The boss replied dryly.

“We all are. But it’s important.”

“Fine. Tell me.” the man went to sit.

“Not with her here. They should take her back to her room.” he replied firmly.

“Why should they? She already knows most of our operations.”

“Do you want to hear what I have to tell you or not?” was Anthonio’s simple question.

“Fine, boy. Seems the drugs you take make you a little too aggressive towards the wrong people. I’ll change them for something better. What do you want?” the beast asked.

“I’m here to talk about Rudolfo.”

The monster was silent for sometime but then he ordered some guards in to take me back to my room. Anthonio had succeeded in getting me out of there.
