Chapter 70 (So Close!)

I continued to massage him.

“You sure know how to please someone.” Anthonio said dreamily

“Yup, I can do everything with these hands. From a good massage to a good meal.”

“I wonder what other talents you got.”

I smiled to myself.

“Talents good enough to keep any man to myself.”

“I see.”

We were silent for sometime and then I spoke again.

“Tempted to discover?” I asked but he didn’t answer.

I then bent over and discovered that prince charming had fallen asleep under my spell. He was so gorgeous. I got off him and lay by his side before covering us both with the sheets.

“I’ll have you for myself soon enough.” I whispered, slowly running my fingers through his silk hair. “Goodnight.”

I kissed his forehead before switching off the lights.

The morning sun from the open windows woke me up. I waited for my vision to adjust. The first thing my eyes fell on was Anthonio’s spotless face. He seemed so at peace while he slept. The sun rays reflected on him making him even more beautiful to watch.

I admired every single detail of his face. Every feature. His brows, eye lids, perfect nose and really pink lips. His hair was shiny and appeared to be even more black and silky. He was temptation on a pair of sexily curved legs.

My face was a few inches away from his and I thought of only one thing. To kiss him. To place a simple kiss on those soft lips like I’d done the last time. But that would be frustrating myself.

As I stared at his face, his eyes slowly fluttered open. He stared back at me, surprise written all over his face. Normal. Because he’d woken up to find someone staring at him. I smiled sweetly.

He closed his eyes for about two seconds then opened them once more before smiling back at me. Jeez, that warmed my heart.

“How did you sleep?” I asked.

“Very well. Thanks to you and your hands.” he mused.

“Thank you.”

He stared silently at me for sometime before speaking again.

“I dreamt of you.” he said slowly.

My eyes widened a little and he smirked.

“I hope it isn’t a crime.”

“No. You just made my day.” I smiled, “But wait. It depends on what the dream was about.”

He was silent. We just stared at each other and then, his gaze dropped to my lips. I literally stopped breathing. But then, I did same, my gaze dropping to his.

There was clearly some sexual tension in the air and he couldn’t lie he wasn’t feeling it too. He just couldn’t.

“You say you want to help me change. Right?” his question came out in a whisper. I was under his power. I felt like he was hypnotising me or something.

“Yeah.” I replied, nervously.

He smirked at me and that sent a direct message in between my legs.

Without much thinking, I leaned in closer to him. He stared at my lips. He stared like he was contemplating on what to do next.

But then, he supported himself up on his elbow so that he was now hovering over me. Gosh, what was happening? I was close to sweating.

He stared into my eyes and I stared back, trying to realise what was happening! The tension in the air was way too much. Too much.

I almost lost it when he raised his other hand and caressed the side of my face. I leaned into his touch. Melting.

“I don’t think I should.” were the only words he whispered.

“Should what?” I murmured. He didn’t answer but just stared at me.

He looked at me and I knew he was thinking seriously. There was some sort of debate going on in his brain. He was contemplating on his next move. I wish I knew what he was thinking.

“What did you dream of?” I whispered.

“You really want to know?” he replied softly, pushing away a strand of hair covering my face with his finger.

“Yes, please...”

Please please please!′

“How bout I show you instead?”

Show me? I loved where this was heading to.

Anthonio began to lower his face towards mine and I thought I would pass out. His lips were a few inches away from mine. I could almost feel them. I was more than ready for him.

Everything seemed unreal. A dream I did not want to get up from. Not at all.

When his lips slightly brushed mine. Slightly. I thought I would pass out. But instead, I slowly parted my lips and waited for what I had longed for all this while.

There was suddenly a knock at the door, causing both of us to freeze.

‘Oh, no!’

I thought to myself.

‘No! No! No!’

“ROOM SERVICE!” a voice from the other side of door said.

Anthonio looked at me one last time before getting off the bed.

I almost cried! I took a pillow and angrily covered my face with it.

Anthonio meanwhile had hurriedly disguised before opening the door.

“Your breakfast, sir.” I heard the person say.

“Bring it in. Thank you.”

The person pushed it in.

“Bonne appetite.”

When I heard the door close one last time, I didn’t even bother to take the pillow off my face. I was withholding tears because I knew that I’d blown up my chance. I knew Anthonio would never talk about it again.

It was just as bad as when you reach the most difficult level of a game and power goes off without you saving the game. You have no choice but to restart it! Fuck the room service.

“You can have some breakfast.” Anthonio said and I took the pillow off my face, “I’m going to shower. Then you’ll be next. We have to fly back to England in an hour and a half’s time.”

I nodded simply. He stared at me for a brief moment before getting his things and entering the bathroom.

I had a lump in my throat. A heavy one.

“Fuck you room service.” I muttered under my breath. I was really trying not to lose it!
