Chapter 59 (Rain)

’I stared up at him. A smirk on my lips. He didn’t move but just watched me. We were both in the kitchen but he stood at the door. I was chopping some ingredients for lunch.

His eyes dropped to what I was wearing. A mini skirt and a strapless crop top.

“Want anything?” I asked with a tease.

He was silent for a while and then walked up to me and without a word he carried me and made me sit on the edge of the counter.

I was surprised but pleased. Waiting to see his next move.

Slowly, he pushed me down with a hand so I was completely lying. Then he started by kissing my thighs. I closed my eyes, feeling his soft lips against my skin.

He went on with his soft kisses, turning me on crazily!

He then pushed my skirt up to my tummy with both hands.

“Do you want me?” he asked in a low voice.

“You know I do. Do you, want me?”

“Yes.”

And with that he lowered his head and began to lick my inner thighs, moving upwards. The anxiety and heat in me was building up. I’d waited for this.′

“Donnica??” Velma patted my shoulder, pulling me out of my thoughts, “You’re day dreaming?” she asked surprised.

“Uh, what?”

She laughed.

“My goodness you were day dreaming! I’d lost you for about five minutes! You were totally off! And the amazing thing is, your eyes were open and you were staring at me.” she laughed out and I suddenly felt a little embarrassed, yet amused.

“Oh. Hahahaha. Um, I’m– I’m sorry.”

“What were you thinking about?” she asked, staring closely at me.

“N– nothing.” I laughed nervously.

“Mmhm.” she said sarcastically.

“Nothing, huh? Whatever it was, it’s made you slightly breathless from the way your chest is heaving. It has something to do with Anthonio. Right?” she smiled knowingly and I felt like disappearing.

“No, it’s–”

“Donnica, you can tell me anything. I’m like a mother to you and I consider you as my child. Unless you don’t consider me.”

I smiled at her

“Of course I consider you, Velma.”

“Then spill the juice.”

“Okay. You win.”

I told her about the early morning massage and what happened.

“That is why I like you.” she laughed, “You are one courageous girl. And by chance, all your efforts will pay for. I have confidence in you and I know you’re gonna change Anthonio.”

I smiled at her and she smiled back.

“I’m happy you think that way.”

“I’m on your side just as much as Leandro was.”

I stared at her, surprised that she knew about Leandro’s plans.

“How–”

“He told me. There’s no secret hidden from me in this house. And don’t worry, by next week he will be sending some medicine through me that you’re gonna be giving Anthonio.”

“Oh, okay!”

“Yes. So just be patient and do what you do best. I want Anthonio’s good because I’ve been in this house for years and he’s clearly a victim here. An errand boy. And those drugs stop him from thinking straight.”

I felt a little hurt because it was all true. I was gonna help him in whatever way.

“I won’t give up. As you’ve probably realised, I am very stubborn.” I joked and Velma smiled.

“I know.”

The next day, I woke up early as usual. Velma was around and so I helped her make breakfast.

I’d not seen Anthonio the day before after the massage issue. He’d remained locked up in his room and even when I brought him dinner, he refused to eat.

Velma told me to bring him breakfast and that maybe he might answer. I did as I was told and took the tray of food before going up to his room .

I stood in front of the door and knocked.

“Anthonio?”

No reply.

“Good morning. I’ve got some breakfast here for you. You haven’t eaten since yesterday. Open up.” I pleaded but still no reply.
“Are you avoiding me? Or did I get you really angry yesterday? If yes, then baby I’m sorry.”

I was silent for a while and when I got no reply still, I turned to leave but then the door got open. I looked at him. He’d made only his head visible. I smiled a little.

“H– hey.” I greeted.

“Don’t ever call me baby. Again.” he stated firmly and I tried my best to hide a smile.

“Okay. I promise never to call you that. But only if you accept to eat.”

“Are you playing with me?”

“Probably. But eat and I won’t bother you again.” I lied, fingers crossed under the tray.

He stared for a short moment and then gave in.

“Fine.”

“Good.” I tried to enter his room but he didn’t let me.

“Put the tray on the floor.”

“Why can’t I come in?” I asked. He stared straight into my eyes.

“I just showered.”

“Oh. So you’re naked?” I joked and his eyes narrowed.

“Stop with your dumb questions. Put the tray down.”

“Fine fine. You win.” I laughed and put the tray down, “If you need me, you know where to find me. For you, I’m always available.” I ended with a tease, “I’ll be in my room if you need anything.”

He just stared. I smiled before turning and sashaying away.

That night, I watched TV in my room, bored as ever. Anthonio hadn’t still left his room and the last time I’d seen him was after giving that tray.

“Why don’t you love me?” I muttered to myself “Or desire me? I’ll be glad if you felt any of both ways for me.”

I lay on my bed thinking of him.

After about ten minutes, I saw lightening outside. I got up and went straight to the windows. I saw how roughly trees were swinging because of the strong wind. Heavy rain was gonna pour down and it surprised me because rain wasn’t supposed to fall at that time of the year.

I stared at the outside until heavy droplets of rain began to pour down. In no time the rain got heavier and heavier.

I went to the drawers to find thick clothes but all I could find was a pullover which I gladly wore.

Then almost immediately, the lights went off. I hurried to my bed and got under the sheets. I heard the guards fidget outside about how the rain had affected the electricity.

The noise outside was terrible. The swaying trees, thunder roars and the sounds of objects being thrown here and there by the wind.

I wished Velma had been around but since we’d arrived England, her hometown, she spent the nights at her house with permission from the boss and Anthonio.

The rain seemed to get heavier with each minute and I even thought of going to Anthonio’s room.
