Chapter 40 (Plans)

That evening, I went to Anthonio’s room. He was on his laptop when I showed up.

“Good evening.” I greeted and he turned to me.

“What do you want?”

“Uh, I wanted to propose that we eat dinner in the other living room. The little one with the deem lights.”

Because I’d decided like a fool to try and seduce him. Yes. There I said it.

I’d come to a conclusion and acceptance that I wanted Anthonio. Even after what he did to me. One can never fight his or her feelings. I couldn’t fight mine. I gave up on trying to fight them. Since I couldn’t stop thinking about him, I decided to try and have him. To make him human again. By all means!

“Because.” was my short reply.

He stared at me.

“You have no reason and so we’ll eat where we normally do.”

I frowned.

“You are always grumpy. A total kill joy. I just want us to change atmosphere sometimes.”

He turned to me, exasperated.

“Just go downstairs. Now.” he ordered rudely.

I stared at him before going over to sit on his bed, challenging his authority.

He frowned at me and I flinched, afraid he might pounce on me and cut my throat at any moment.

I immediately stood up from his bed.

“Okay. My reason is, I just want to eat there today. Just to change environment. Please, Anthonio.” I begged in a more considerate manner. He ignored me and continued to work on his computer. I stood there for about fifteen minutes and he ignored me throughout.

I felt a lump in my throat, anger rising in me but I controlled myself in order not to say anything foolish.

Silently, I left his room.

“Idiot. Sicko!” I grumbled, walking down the staircase. I went to that little living room where I’d set the table hoping that Anthonio would’ve joined me. Grumbling, I sat alone and served myself.

After thirty minutes since I’d started eating, Anthonio walked into the room to my surprise. He had his phone in his hand and was typing something. He sat across me, eyes on the phone’s screen and totally ignoring me. I couldn’t help it but smile. Even if he ignored me, I was happy he still came.

“Anthonio...?” I called and he looked up from his phone, both his eyes and tanned skin seemed to glow in the deem lights. He was beautiful. His eyes, lips, nose, everything (picture above). That sexy bad boy with earrings and a tattoo at the back of his neck.

How could I not fall for someone like him?

“I’m happy you’ve finally decided to come have dinner with me. Here.”

“What’s for dinner?” he asked dryly, ignoring my sentence. It didn’t affect me one bit and I just kept the smile on my face.

“Roasted chicken in sauce and steamed veggies.”

“Okay.” he reached out for the covered dish but I stopped him

“Wait. Lemme dish the food for you.” I said, standing up and going over to him. The table was a little one. Meant for two.

I put him some food in his plate and didn’t expect a thank you. I just sat on my seat and watched him start to eat.

“You like it?” I asked slowly.

“It’s delicious. Velma’s meals always are.” was his dry reply, without looking up at me. I smirked.

“I made it.”

He stopped and looked up at me.

“And thank you.” I added. He didn’t say a word but went on with his meal. I watched him.

At a point he looked up again.

“Why aren’t you eating?”

“I’m not hungry.”

“Then why did you serve yourself?”

“Mistake. I am hungry. But not for food.” I ended, staring straight into his eyes. Yes, I was flirting with him.

Anthonio stopped chewing and stared at me.

“Then what are you hungry for?” he asked. I found myself smiling at him.

“You should know.” was my slow reply. He just stared at me, as unreadable as ever, “Can I ask you a rather, personal question?”

“If I answer will you stop speaking and allow me to eat in peace?” he asked in return.

“Then ask.”

I smirked a little, looking at him in the eyes.

“Don’t you miss the warmth of a woman at times?” I asked in low voice. Anthonio slowly dropped his fork, his eyes on mine.

“What do you mean?”

I felt some sweet cold run through my body as I leaned in on the table.

“What I mean is,” my voice came out as a whisper, but loud enough for him to hear, “...don’t you feel like having a woman in your arms at times? Just to cuddle.”

He was silent and I couldn’t help it but smirk.

“Why should I? It’s useless.” he replied.

I chuckled a little and shook my head.

“No it’s not useless Anthonio. There’s nothing more sensual...” I continued, my eyes dropping to his lips, “...than having a woman caress you. Kiss you...”

He stared at me, silent.

“Or even just touch you.” with the bit of courage I had at the moment, I slowly reached out with a hand and gently trailed my fingers on the top of his own hand.

Anthonio immediately backed out. I knew I had affected him, in one way or the other.

“Why are you asking all these questions?” he asked, his voice low, giving me the chills.

“Because I want to know Anthonio.” I whispered my reply, “I wanna know how you survive? Because I can’t.”

I knew what I was doing and I didn’t care.

“I’m a woman Anthonio. I need that sensual warmth.” I leaned back into my chair as his eyes watched my every move.

There was some tension in that room. Sexual tension and he couldn’t lie we were both feeling it.

“The boss helps you, I believe.” he suddenly said and I knew there was a hint of teasing in his remark.

“Not really. I need someone else.”

He just watched my moves.

“Donnica, what you are trying to do is useless.”

“So you know what I’m trying to do huh? Good.” I smiled at him.

“You are waisting your time.” was his low reply.

“We shall see about that.” I told him. I pretended to yawn and then stretched out in a rather sexy and provocative manner. I stretched out my arms and on bringing them down, I intentionally touched my neck, chest, breasts and stomach in a rather sensual manner. He watched me intently throughout. I just loved the fact that he watched my every move.

I then got up.

“I’m going to bed Anthonio. I’m tired. Goodnight.” I said rather seductively before turning on my heel and leaving, sashaying my way out. For the first time, I’d had the last word.

Anthonio had to prepare because I had a lot in store for him,

*😏😏😏 So what do you think?*
