Chapter 31

* * *

Rosalin walked naked out of the bathroom drying her hair with the towel. She looked at the reflection of her body in the mirror. She smiled to herself. She looked good. She then dressed up and giving herself a final look in the mirror, she walked out of the room towards the staircase. Just as she was about to step down on the first step, she heard low hushed tones coming from a room down the corridor. She walked near it and peeped through the half open door. Inside Antonio was standing with his back to the door. Isabella had her arms around him and hugging him closely. She heard her say. ‘I tell you darling I crave for you night and day. You know I love you. That girl is not right for you.’

’Jesus. Why are you doing this? Antonio whined. ‘I am telling you there is nothing serious between us.’

’Am I asking you for any clarification? She looked at him without any remorse. ‘I don’t even mind what you were doing.’

‘Oh God. Why Rosalin why?’ There was an aggrieved look on his face.

Silently Rosalin turned to look at him. She kept silent and then walked out of the room. Antonio slumped on the bed in frustration.
