This life is so complex that we rarely get to be the people we are truly meant to be. The Mask That I Wear

I put on a fake smile

To hide my pain

Yet I wish someone would

See how broken I am inside

The mask that I wear

Hides my inner feelings and emotions

Betrayal, sadness and anger

Run deep in my veins

Years of torment by

The people who I call mine

Slowly destroy my soul

From inside bit by bit

The mask that I wear

Suffocates me everyday

Now I can't find a way

To remove it off of my face

The blood of betrayal

Runs deep in my family

Who did nothing but take away

My ability to trust and love

All I've felt in my life

Where there is no place for

Love to stay for long

The mask that I wear

Is something that I fear

Which I think will destroy me

Denny Ro: The story line follows a Romeo and Juliet theme with the added edge of fantasy thrown in. Neatly done with the werewolve angle. Personally I don't like the abundant use of swear words, but I'm sure it will appeal to the younger audience. I would say it is more teenage romance than fantasy, for...
