He clutched his chest and learned against the wall. A sad and self-mocking smile on his face. His eyes empty.
It hurt him that others had experienced the warmth of his body before him. It hurt him that he had been with others before him, that he had caressed, kissed them and embraced them. It felt like a knife in his heart. He hated that it was only him that had to deal with people who were obsessed with him over and over again. He hated that he was suffering while Austin didn’t have to deal with the same. He knew it was cruel of him to think so, but he wanted him to know the same pain he felt every time he met someone that either wanted Austin’s love or had been with him before, someone who had felt his warmth and his touch before.
‘Hey, Ace... do you think I’m cruel?’ He murmured, a whisper, full of sadness and loneliness.
[Master... I think you are perfect the way you are.]
‘Haha, I see, then that’s good’. He smiled, yet it didn’t reach his eyes, his eyes misty and red.
He wiped his eyes with his sleeve and walked back to the hall.
Austin was standing and talking to a group of businessmen. When he saw rain he smiled, his golden eyes loving as they concentrated on his face. Upon looking at his eyes he noticed they were red, as if he had been crying. His sword like brows furrowed and he took his hand and guided him to the side of the hall for some privacy.
“Is everything alright?” He asked, his deep voice laced with concern.
“Yeah.” Rain replied blandly. His empty eyes avoiding the golden eyes that were narrowed on his face.
“Something is wrong...tell me...do you want to go home?”
“Yeah.” He replied monotonously again.
“Alright,” he said as he went to say bye to his parents before leaving the hall and taking Rain home.
The ride home was silent. Unbearably so. Rain had ignored his existence the entire ride and only looked out the window. His face blank and tired.
‘Ace make sure you complete the task of the fake photos. It’s a pity, I would have loved to see the female lead get humiliated, but I can’t be bothered. I want to be alone and rest.’
After they entered the mansion, Austin noticed Rain changing into some casual clothes.
“What’s going on?” He asked, his flawless face covered with concern.
“I’m going out. I want to be alone for tonight, I’m just going out for a bit. I will be home after a few hours.” He voiced out blandly.
Austin’s brows furrowed, and he walked up to Rain. He stroked his cheek and put his fingers under his kitten’s chin, raising his head so that he would look directly into his eyes.
“What’s wrong?” He murmured, his voice soft and soothing.
“What’s wrong is I’m tired. I’m tired of dealing with your whores and fanboys”. He spoke coldly.
“I hate that every day I have to deal with your fanboys or fangirls and previous lovers. I hate that they know more about you than I do. I hate that they are able to humiliate me because you couldn’t keep it in your pants. That you had to go around sleeping with every bimbo in town. I can’t even turn a corner without bumping into either a fanboy, fangirl or someone you used to sleep with.” His voice growled out. His eyes darkened with anger.
Austin stood still, frozen, his eyes widened in shock.
“I’ll be back later.” He said before he shook his hands off his face, walked through the door and slammed it shut.
