The 'Not A God'
I shoved my way through the crowds of people dancing, heedless of who I elbowed and kicked. I made my way to the front door, than went to my car and got in the drivers seat. I was about to drive away, when the door opened and Loki sat down in the passenger's seat.
"Hey," He touched the side of my face. "You're drunk." I pushed his hand away indignantly.
"No'm not," I said indignantly. "But I'm definitely hallucinating." He smiled slightly.
"Let me drive." He got out of the car and circled around to the driver's side door. He opened it, and I started to protest, but Loki gave me a steely glare, then I gave up and moved over to shotgun. He turned the key in the ignition switch, and I asked him,
"Who's Ski... whats-his-name." He didn't look at me.
"Nobody. I... we'll talk about it in the morning."
The next morning, I woke up with a wicked hangover and an ass-load of questions. For a moment, I just sat on the edge of my bed and stared at the wall with my blanket wrapped around me. After a few minutes, I got up and hauled myself into the living room. I made myself coffee, and was about to flop myself down on the couch, when I noticed a figure lying there. Whoever it was must have heard me, because they shifted, and,
