In The Alf World... Wait, What?!
When I woke up, I had no idea about anything. I was lying on a small cot, so small I could barely stretch myself out. I lay there for a few minutes and stared at the inside of my eyelids. I sat up, still keeping my eyes closed and heard a voice. It was the first man, the one with the blue hair. I started to open my eyes,
“No-no-no-don’t!” He said. Too late. I opened my eyes and immediately lurched out of bed. I stumbled around the room pressing my hands to my eyes. My eyes burned, almost as if someone were shining a flashlight as bright as the sun in my face, but my eyes had only been open for a few seconds. The man said,
“Here. Put these on.” I held out my hand and he pressed something flat and hard into my hand. Sunglasses. “They are enchanted. Should help with the pain.” I put them on and opened my eyes again. It was about as bright here with the sunglasses on as it would me in the normal world, which I assumed was not here. I blinked.
“Where are we?” I asked.
“Alfheim. The world of the alfs.” I blinked a couple more times.
“Don’t you mean Svartalfheim? Like frim the movie?” He laughed.
“No. Svartalfheim is the world of the dwarves, not alfs. Pretty confusing, isn’t it?” I nodded.
“Yes. So, who exactly are you, and why are you looking for Loki?” His expression turned grim.
“I’m Forsete. And why I’m looking for Loki? Loki killed my father.” He let that settle in. Then I blurted out,
“So, you mean to tell me, I’ve been knocked unconscious, traveled to another world, was kidnapped by some idiot with blue hair who I find is trying to hunt down my boyfriend because you say he killed your dad and you expect me to find him for you so you can probably kill him? How is that fair?!!!” He smiled.
“I’m not sure about it being fair now, but once you hear what he’s done, you’ll want him dead too.” He left me to my thoughts.
