Two boys, Ijimicko and Eeko, absolutely despise each other. However, with the disappearance of many girls through out the kingdom, they find themselves working together to bring them home. The two share in triumphs and troubles and never give up.

The Crash

It was a dark night in an unknown location when it happened... The moon was in its “new” phase and the stars were hidden behind the clouds. Everything was silent.

All of a sudden, there came a bunch of bright lights over the fields and hills, producing such noises that nobody had ever heard before. The lights grew brighter and brighter until they crashed into the field with a bang and a loud pop. Smoke rose from the area high into the sky.

Hardly anyone was awake to witness this though as, by this time; most of the citizens of the land were fast asleep. The police, however, found out right away that something had happened.

There in the field was the wreckage of many space ships. Their doors popped open and many crying weeping figures emerged. Some of the people were old, some weren’t even born yet, and some were very young. Though their ages varied greatly, what all of these strangers shared in common were those distinct wolf ears and tails. One of the young ones started wandering off, and nobody noticed.

“Where are we?! Are we safe?!” a Wolf Person from the group cried out.

“I’m not sure... Did everyone make it?” another asked.

“No... We had a few deaths... It was too late to save them...” another said.

“Our sacred texts... Did they survive...?” the other asked.

“Yes, they are in perfect condition,” another reported.

“If they survived, we’ll be alright!” the first said.

The police showed up to the scene and got out of their carriages to investigate.

“Someone’s coming!” one wolf said.

The police stared at the wreckage in disbelief. The leader of the wolves, their king, saw the police officers there and smiled.

“Police...” he read off their badge, “This must be a safe place.”

“Are you armed...?” one officer asked the people in the wreckage.

“No, we left our weapons behind when we came here,” the king said.

“How many of you are there?” another officer asked.

“There were thousands of us... Some got lost, but most of us died...” the king said, “I suspect that less than 100 of us survived...”

“Okay, I suppose we could let you guys stay here as refugees, but if you cause us any trouble, we’ll send you away,” the officer said.

“We promise to behave... And we could help repair your field. It won’t cost you anything other than the supplies,” the king said and then he added, “We always work for free.”

“Hmmm... Interesting... And are you the leader out of them all?” the officer asked.

“Indeed I am. I am their king, Silverous Luster. However, they call me Silv,” the king said.

“A king, huh...? Boy, our king will need to know about you,” the officer said.

“I’d be pleased to meet him,” Silv said.

With that, the survivors of the crash all got up and moved into the human world. This kingdom that appeared to be its own little world, they’d soon find out, was a forgotten place known as Snyvolon.
