Chapter 4

The sun had woken me up the next morning, Sunday. It was too bright in my room and I mentally cursed at myself for not shutting the curtains. As I moved slightly, I realised that I wasn’t entirely on my bed, something hard, soft and warm lay beneath me.

I opened my eyes to see a soundly sleeping Sebastian under my chest. My naked chest, which was also on his naked chest. I made a move to roll off him, but a warm arm snaked around my back, keeping me in place. I moved my head up to look at him, only to be met with angry and annoyed eyes.

“Are you trying to leave me again?” He angrily grumbled. I once more made a move to get off him. Not that I really wanted to. He was a sight for sore eyes and if I just tilted my head up a little bit further I could place a kiss on those plump lips. The need to find myself some clothes came crashing down on me. I didn’t really like sleeping in the nude, it made me feel vulnerable. What if there was a fire? How embarrassing would that be?

As I kept scrambling to move away, Sebastian had obviously grown frustrated with my need to move out of his arms, so he retaliated by sitting up in my bed. My legs clung around his waist as he did so, as bodies smashing together. His bare chest felt good against my own.

“Where would I go?” I asked. “This is my house.”

I struggled to get the words out because Sebastian slowly and gently started rubbing his hard on, on my core. I closed my eyes only just managing to stifle a moan. Sebastian’s lips found my throat and began placing gentle kisses. As much as I liked what was happening, I still needed answers.

“Wait,” I breathlessly said, pushing myself a little bit off his chest. “What are we doing?” I asked.

I wanted to know what was happening. Was I just a quick fuck or something more? And if I was something more, I needed answers. Not just about what was happening but also about him. He was still a stranger in my eyes.

“What do you mean? You’re mine,” he stated like it was the simplest thing in the world. “This is mine,” he said, pulling me closer to his chest and moving his fingers towards my, more than happy, nub.

“Since when?” I asked, shamelessly moving myself closer to his teasing fingers. I had to use all of the strength in my body to stop what it truly wanted.

“Since the party,” he stated, as if I was supposed to know this already. I moved my hand under the sheets that were left covering our lower halves. I grabbed his wandering hand a moved it, so it lay on my lap on top of the sheets.

“After you fucked me?” I bluntly asked. If he thought that I was just a piece of ass he could keep around for fun, he was certainly mistaken.

“No, after you gave me attitude,” he explained, his hand placed over my breast and giving it a mischievous squeeze. I let out a breathless moan at his touch and tried not to let my head tip backwards.

“That doesn’t make any sense,” I whispered, looking into his gorgeous, blue eyes.

“It makes perfect sense,” he grunted, and I couldn’t help but roll my eyes. His finger came up and flicked me on the nose and I couldn’t help but scrunch my face up before rubbing my nose. He chuckled and held me closer to his chest.

“I don’t know anything about you,” I obviously stated. There was no point in beating around the bush, we didn’t know anything about each other. There couldn’t exactly be a relationship. Is that what he wanted though? A relationship?

“Then let’s do some exploring,” he answered, his hand finding its way underneath the sheets again.

I was just about to indulge in some ‘exploring’ when I heard Fluff’s tail echo on one of the walls. I heard keys jingling in the door, and I shot up like a rocket. I used all my strength to push off Sebastian and stumble out of bed.

“Stay here,” I hissed at him, and in return he gave me a lazy smile and placed his arms behind his head. It was quite a sight and my eyes refused to move away at first, but as I heard the front door open, I sprinted to my closet.

I put on a pair of fresh booty shorts and an oversized shirt, knowing that if I wore anything else it would give my mother a suspicion.

“Maizie? Are you awake?” My mum called from the living room and my face visibly paled.

“Umm, yeah mum, just give me a second,” I said, trying to shove my shirt over my head. I hissed in pain as I stumbled back, my sensitive vagina disagreeing with me. As I finally pulled the shirt over my head, my eyes met with an amused Sebastian. “Don’t say anything,” I hissed. “And put some clothes on, your distracting me.”

He let out a breathless chuckled as I quickly removed myself from my bedroom. I closed the door, making sure that you wouldn’t be able to see anything behind me.

I met my mum in the kitchen, almost shaking and praying to the lord that I didn’t get caught. “Hey,” I said, my voice shaking. I cursed myself for making myself sound guilty.

“Hi honey. Sleep well?” She said, before bringing a glass of water up to her lips.

“Yeah, great,” I said and gave myself a mental pat on the back for my steady voice. “How was last night?”

“It was good. I just came to get changed and have a shower. I have work in an hour,” she explained.

My mother worked as a regional manager for a large retail company. She’d worked her way from the bottom all the way to the top. She was my world and I was so proud of her. My mother, sister and I had a tough time when my parents split. My dad was an asshole and cheated on her, and after everything, my sister and I both refused to talk to him or see him again. Honestly, I was happy that the negativity was out of my life.

At that moment, Fluff decided to bark, before running towards my room. Dumb dog! So, you chose now to bark, not when I was screaming?

My mother looked suspicious, but I tried to just brush it off.

“Don’t work too hard,” I chastised her, trying to keep her preoccupied. She’d always push herself really hard and come home to still clean up the house after a long day. Sometimes I worried about her.

“I wouldn’t do anything else,” she said, before she rounded the corner and kissed me on the cheek.

“Honey, why is your underwear on the floor in the living room?”

“I-umm, Fluff and I got crazy last night,” I sheepishly replied. I prayed that she would brush it off. She narrowed her eyes and studied me for a moment and I tried my best not too look guilty.

“You are so weird,” she said slowly before I watched her walk to her room, the other side of the house, before closing the door behind her. I let out a breath of relief. That could’ve gone worse.

I practically ran to my room, pushing Fluff out of the way and closing the door behind me. I walked in to see Sebastian half way pulling his jeans up over his boxers. I swallowed as I watched the bulge under his underwear disappear when he pulled up the rest of his denim pants. I snapped my head up to meet his amused eyes. He walked over to me, before placing a seductive kiss on my lips. I didn’t protest.

“See something you like?” He teasingly mocked me.

I glared up at him. “You know I do,” I grumbled, before taking in the view of his chiselled chest. He laughed, before his other hand lowered and squeezed my ass. I slapped his hand away, but he just pushed us closer together.

“We are going out for breakfast,” he huskily stated. It wasn’t question and he definitely wasn’t asking.

“No,” I denied. “You need to leave,” I said, trying to push him towards my door, but he wouldn’t budge. I rounded his body, before trying to push him forward from his back. He still didn’t move. Instead, he turned around to face me, an annoyed look on his face.

“I’ll leave with you in my arms if I have to. Or maybe I’ll just tell mother dearest what we got up to last night?” he threatened me.

“You wouldn’t,” I deadpanned

He turned around and I watched him curiously as he walked over to my bedroom door. My eyes widened, and I made a move to stop him. If he did what I think he was going to do, he would’ve signed my death sentence.

“Fine! Fine!” I reluctantly gave in. He gave me a satisfied grin before marching over to my bed and plopping down on it. He crossed his arms and his muscles bulged at the action. I swear I could feel the drool dripping down my chin.

I moved around the room and bent over to pick up his shirt. I heard him groan and I quickly turned around. “Don’t bend down in those shorts baby. We might never leave the room if you do that again,” he said, his veins popping out of his tensed arms.

I shot straight up, before tossing his plain, white tee at him. I wasn’t a girl who usually blushed and even though he’d seen my nude before I couldn’t help but turn red at the fact I’d unintentionally flashed him.

“I’m off Maizie!” My mother called from the living room.

“Bye!” I shouted back, relaxing as I heard the front door slam. I barely had time let out a breath as Sebastian basically charged at me. He grasped my hips before throwing me over his shoulder, myself letting out a squeak as he did so. “What are you doing you barbarian?! Put me down!” I demanded, my fists gently pounding on his back. I probably couldn’t have done any harm if I’d used all my strength anyway.

He didn’t set me down until we reached the side of a car. I thanked my lucky stars that I put a bra on or things would’ve gone differently. And by that, I mean my girls would’ve been hanging out of my shirt. His car wasn’t old, nor was it new. Actually, it was more of a truck and I subtly rolled my eyes. Of course, he would’ve had a truck.

I turned around in his arms. “Wait, I’m not wearing any shoes,” I explained.

“You don’t need any,” he grunted before grabbing my hips and lifting me into the seat.

I was about to protest when he slammed the door shut in my face. I let out an annoyed huff, and crossed my arms, pouting like a child whose toy was just taken away from them. I tried not to watch as Sebastian rounded the front of his car and jumped in right next to me. The first thing he did was place his hand on my right thigh before starting the engine. I contemplated pushing it away, but what good would that do?

He pulled away from the curb and I couldn’t help but admire his strong arms as he handled the truck. He caught me gawking from his peripheral vision and gave my thigh a little squeeze before venturing further. I quickly grasped his hand in mine and held it tightly on my lap. I was going to let it go, but I liked the feel of his warm hand in mine. He didn’t seem to mind either. We were acting like we’d been dating forever, and it kind of frightened me.

“How did you know where I lived?” I asked again.

“Your friend Caylee left her phone at my place. I saw you girls walking in together at the party, so I just asked a few questions,” he explained. My grip tightened on his hand, trying to hurt him, but my efforts remained futile.

“So, you’re a stalker,” I harshly asked. I was actually kind of mad that Caylee had given him my address. How did she know he was the one I slept with anyway? And did she know if he was a serial killer or not? We were going to have a serious conversation when I got home.

I was almost surprised when Sebastian pulled up to McDonald’s. I wasn’t disappointed though, and I listened as he ordered me some pancakes and a bacon and egg muffin for himself.

“How did you know I liked pancakes?” I asked curiously.

“Everyone likes pancakes,” he answered, as if it was the stupidest question I could’ve asked.

After we got our food, which we argued over for about five minutes because he wouldn’t let my pay for my own meal, he pulled up at a little park about a five-minute drive from my house.

“Stay,” he ordered, before putting the bag of food on my lap and hopping out of the car. He rounded the front once more, before pulling my door open for me. I grabbed the warm bag of food and started to carefully jump down from the car, before Sebastian rolled his eyes, grabbed my hips and hoisted me down. He then quickly entangled our fingers before dragging me over to a vacant picnic table.
