Captivating

It is a very interesting take and an easy read. Too many times this specific genre is flooded with detail filled mega books, that reduce the story to a bunch of worlds mushed together, rather than building it up into a great story.

I was interested in the city itself and how the environment functioned so feel there could have perhaps been a bit more detail around that, maybr slightly less about the human struggles within it. The characters are detailed enough to form a full picture, but the nature of the world they are forced to live in lacks construct. All in all a great easy read and can't wait for the end.

A few missing words, grammatical faults and punctuation errors ... but nothing I haven't seen in mainstream published books before. And nothing that a second read over won't fix.

Good show! Keep on going!

Captivating

The story has promise. Though using first person is always difficult to maintain and draw the reader in fully the use of the perspective is skillful.

A few grammatical / punctuation errors, with one or two words missing in line, but overall a nice and easy read. The rafter scene feels a bit sticky and confusing, with little flow from point of contact by the two leaders, to where they meet on the floor. It feels as if the thought was there and then was lost.

Overall a good start to a story that could have potential to grow into a artwork.
