Wonderful!

The story grips you right from the very first chapter and compels you to keep reading. The characters are extremely well developed and relatable, which makes them very likable as well. Barry's writing seamlessly weaves together images of the characters and their interactions with one another. The dialogue between them is spot on and the humor sprinkled throughout the writing is so refreshing.

Wonderful job, Barry! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of this story, as well as Waves Break on Unknown Shores in the coming days!

Intriguing

I'm not normally a reader of mystery novels, so O was not quite sure what to expect when I began this read. Although, and perhaps, it was not the writers intentions, I felt myself being pulled in by the intrigue of this story. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and am excited to read more!

Amazing so far!

Overall, I found this story to be very interesting! I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't more! I'm very eager to continue this story and discover what lies ahead for Royce. There were a few grammatical errors, but, in general, this was a good read! Well done!

Really Good!

I read the first four chapters and intend to come back for more. The world that the author paints is one vivid and hauntingly unfamiliar. I am fascinated by the direction of this novel and am eager to learn more.

I liked it!

I've only read the first two chapters (so far). As a christian myself, I'm fascinated by this concept. I think you did a great job telling a story as well as offering up some interesting food for thought! I'm interested to keep reading and to see how Ty's dreams continue to impact his perspective on his brother, as I'm already thinking that there is something amiss with Colton. Overall, you are a very talented writer and I found this very easy to read - despite, primarily, being composed of exposition. I find that its different to come across a story that does less "showing" and more "telling", if that makes sense. Well done!
