Enjoyable, But Somewhat Lacking
"A ruler is a rock, not swayed by grief nor desire..."

What a great tale of bravery! In Felicity's part, anyway. The book started off really well. I like that the key dimensions were represented properly, with their ranks and roles explained thoroughly. But even when I find the book enjoyable, there were things I find quite lacking.
I'm not really sure whether to love or hate the story, but I didn't regret reading it. In my opinion, I can say that the sequencing progressed quite well. It's just that...there were so many things going on at the same time but for some reason, I never found any real conviction with the plot nor the characters. The prose was good as well as the plot whilst being bland at the same time. It would be great if there was one really strong character that stood out. The ending wasn't that satisfying for me as well. I need closure! (laughs)
If there was any redeeming quality, it was how the book was written in general. Proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation were all utilized in a way that even people with limited knowledge of the English language would be able to understand the words easily. Everything was so well-written, I may have to check the author's other book.
