Prologue

Kelsie:

It's freaking Christmas. Every year on this occasion, it's when stupid (No offense) couples are all over the street, acting all lovey-dovey with their girlfriend/boyfriend.

And, I am still single when all of my bestfriends already got their so called "darlings". It sucks. It's not like I need one, but it just makes me sick when my besties talk about how "lovey-dovey" they are, when I don't freaking have one.

You might be wondering why I don't have a boyfriend.

First of all, I guess it's because I'm a tomboy. I have never wore a freaking dress, flats, or applied on makeup. I just think that those stuff are such a bother. Girls always care about their appearance. I guess I just feel comfortable with my baggy clothes, they're comfortable anyways. My mum always forced me to wear a dress or become girly. But sorry to disappoint you mum, I'm fine with being myself.

Nevertheless, the most important reason is because I HATE boys. Boys are jerks. They tend to tease girls and make jokes on erotic things, (Oh, it's so funny that I forgot to laugh) and it's really gross and extremely annoying. I know that not all of the boys are like this, but it just applies on most of the boys in this school.

I generally hate all of the boys, but there's a thing about boys that I HATE the most. Playboys.

And there's a typical one in our school. Freaking Edward Goodwin Lowell.

The ultimate hottie, aka "Prince" in this school. He dates girls a week and then dump them, impressive right? (Note: Gorgeous girls) He's nice to everyone and is annoyingly popular. He always gives out murderous smiles to the girls, which made them drool over him. But unfortunately, it doesn't work on me. Too bad.

But who knows, that fate could bring two contrary people together?
