Chapter 1

I am the woman that has 15 children.
Little fluttering hearts
That I juggle every day;
Each with its own sensitivity
Trembling in my palms.

There's pride in my eyes
When I see each fluttering heart.
Glimmers of uniqueness
Challenge to my core.
And when they learn
It's my sweetest victory;
My purpose in this world.

When as big thumping hearts
They will leave me
One day,
To take on life
To battle decay;
I will look back
When they were fluttering hearts
And smile and wave while a memory
I become.

It was gripping even for an adult reader. I would recommend a thorough and close edit to reveal the full potential of this very good book.

Eric Stull: I feel this work is geared more towards children of a certain age that could understand the language used here, but also pre-teen to early teenagers as the work seems to present a story that could easily instruct to this demographic. Regardless, the world developed by the author is engaging.

Laraine Smith: I was also a victim of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse by my father. One time, he threatened to beat me with a belt. This story enabled me to talk about it. Thank you. :)

chariethomas7: I love the plot line on how it's not just how Elizabeth has to deal the her lover but her ex husband and child. I personally scared that she would get caught with her child but not Ben. I would love if this story can continue. The ending is making me want more.
