Chapter 1

Lovers skate as pairs!

There is romance on the ice!

This is magical!

There are many kids!

They are playing many games,

And puppies lead them!

There is jazz music!

Mister Jazz Man is present!

People are cheering!

There is a party!

The lights are changing colors!

They make a rainbow!

Joy is in the air!

People are spinning around!

They are holding hands!

Skaters are dancing!

The skating rinks are crowded!

It is like Christmas!

It’s like a ballroom!

There are so many friendships!

There is harmony!

Sarah Luongo: I'm a big fan of the format of the book- the concept of incorporating poems and within the story and sectioning off periods of the story with each poem. jenneyescoto: I'm only six chapters in, yet I'm already hooked. It didn't start too slow nor too fast. It has just enough background information to keep the plot going in a decent pace. There are just some minor grammar mistakes and phrasing that could be easily corrected. Other than that, I'm really enjoying ...

Eric Stull: I feel this work is geared more towards children of a certain age that could understand the language used here, but also pre-teen to early teenagers as the work seems to present a story that could easily instruct to this demographic. Regardless, the world developed by the author is engaging.

Laraine Smith: I was also a victim of verbal, physical, and sexual abuse by my father. One time, he threatened to beat me with a belt. This story enabled me to talk about it. Thank you. :)
