Long Time Coming

Still at the hotel:

“Why didn’t you leave him with Mitch? We only have one night,” Brad asked his girlfriend.

“He’s in the bathroom, tied up, plus we’re ten stories up. He’s not going anywhere.”

He watched her undress. She did the same.

“If you’re going to fuck; just do it; don’t mind me!” Bobby yelled.

“Well, that killed the mood.” Brad had enough.

Minutes later, they stood at Mitch’s door. “He’s all yours!” He shoved Bobby inside.

“Should we kiss and make up?” Bobby asked with a smirk.

“Get in here,” Mitch shut the door. He put him into the closet this time. “Nighty, night!”

Katherine and Brad climbed into bed, finally able to relax, both exhausted, too tired to do anything but sleep.

Hours later, they slowly awakened and, as per always, they gravitated to each other. Trying to say warm, the air conditioning blasted them awake.

“I’ll turn it down,” Brad said and left the bed.

“It’s so cold,” Katherine said shivering.

“I’ll warm you up,” he said and climbed back into bed.

“That’s better,” she whispered and snuggled close.

Katherine was usually the one who initiated sex. Brad was always nervous and she wondered about it. She touched his chest. “I need you. Don’t you need me too?”

“Always.” After that telling answer, he touched her cheek, her throat and then he went lower. Brad was thinking: the real reason I’m resisting is because Katherine was different from anyone I’ve ever known and I want to please her so much.

Katherine watched him with a knowing look, but she needed him to talk to her. They would talk later, much later.

His voice hoarse, he whispered, “You don’t know what you’re doing to me.” He raised his eyes to her face and waited for her to look at him. “I can’t think about anything but being with you and loving you.” He paused and tried tell her what she means to him. “You are the one treasure of my life.”

Katherine wasn’t sure how she should react to that statement. “Oh, I’m a treasure?” She smiled and decided that she liked it.

“Yes, and I don’t know what I would do if anything happened to you.” He frowned and thought of what could happen to them, especially now that they’re together.

She touched his cheek and his throat. “Well, I don’t plan on going anywhere, not for a long, long time.”

“I don’t want to talk anymore,” he whispered and then he kissed her and this time was different, she could feel it. Desire flowed through her veins making her dizzy for more.

Brad was a man who loved kissing, nearly as much as the act of intercourse itself.

Brad’s love life, if you could call it that, consisted of women wanting to be bedded by a secret agent; yes, he bragged about that. They didn’t know him; they didn’t want to know him, but Katherine was so much more than he had ever dreamed.

He nibbled her ear then down her throat. He stared at her beautiful body and wondered again how lucky they were to have found each other.

Moments later, kissing and caressing wasn’t enough, but neither could be still. Katherine was right; these moments were rare and they should cherish them and never take them for granted. Happiness was fleeting, so they decided to grab hold with both hands because who knew when they have this time alone again.

Katherine closed her eyes and she was thrown back in time to when Brad wanted to tell her how he felt but kept it to himself and she did the same, but now all of that was in the past. She could feel the love flowing from everywhere he touched her as his tongue speared into mouth tasting her, twirling his tongue inside, kissing her as if she were his lifeline and he was starved for her which he was. She kissed him back and then she melted against him. His kisses wandered across her cheek to her ear and then down her throat and then he latched onto a nipple as his hands latched onto the full globes of her breasts and Katherine found enough air in her lungs to speak.

“We shouldn’t… be… doing this; our jobs?”

“They can fire me,” he managed to say as their lovemaking were forbidden; as if it were their secret and no one else and that thought turned him on even more. Katherine moaned loudly then as he suckled her other breast and then he touched her and she nearly flew off the bed. Her moist heat calling to him, beckoning to that animal part of him that had overtaken his thinking.

Brad felt bewitched as if she had put a spell on him; he would do anything if she would just love him, touch him and make him feel wanted and needed. He supposed, after meeting each other the way that they did; she stole from him after he had stolen the secret files. They had fallen into this cat and mouse game, the sparks were still there and making love, to be inside her, feel her come around him, for them to feel that little death that only they could feel together, felt right.

She moved to welcome him, opening her legs, sliding her arms around his powerful back. He grabbed her hips and then pure intoxicating pleasure gripped him as he filled her to the hilt and her muscles tightened around him. His mouth moved over her face, his breath hot making her shiver. She wanted him with a desperation that stunned her mind as her body reacted needing him to take her, and then she pulled him closer and kissed him moving her tongue over his mouth tasting their need.

He drove hard and sure inside of her, as her moans were driving him crazy, so he kissed her more deeply to cover her moans. Soon though, he could feel her contractions, knew she was close and then he knew nothing. Katherine then flung her arms around his neck, held him with her thighs, and climaxed strongly, hips pumping, breasts crushed into his chest. Brad lost control and filled her womb with hot flood of his seed. Katherine sighed and held him close as their breathing returned to normal.

“Thank you,” she murmured softly. Every part of her glowed as she sighed again and stroked his chest. After leaving her body, they cuddled close each thinking of doing it again, maybe. She kissed his cheek his ear and then she turned his head and kissed him, but she couldn’t help it as her hand moved lower then surprise and delight lit up her face; he was ready for her again. His famous smirk greeted her surprised one, plus his cheekbones and thick hair aroused her even more.

Brad felt her look and this game that they had been playing for months was over; it was Katie and Brad and bending over her and bracing himself on an elbow, he suckled her breast. Katherine moaned and held his head to her breast loving the feeling.

“You’re very welcome, Ms. Davis,” he managed between kisses then he gave her a look.

Katherine knew what it meant. “Up and at it!” She climbed on top of him and then she guided his erection inside her body. In control now, Katherine loved this position as she pushed deeper and moved with him in sweet rhythm. Both enjoying it, but soon it was over, Katherine collapsed on top of him with a slight grin on her lips.

“That was incredible; wasn’t it?” He had to ask as he stroked her arm and kissed her forehead.

There was something in his voice. “Yes, it was,” she replied and wondered about his question. She leaned up on her elbow. “Is there something you wanted to say about us?”

He stroked her hair. “I’ve never thought of love, not for a very long time, until you came along. It seemed silly and not important enough.”

“I understand,” she whispered.

“I hope you mean that, Katie, because you’ve become very important to me.”

“I feel the same way about you.” She leaned into him, her head on his chest.

He smiled his lips on her forehead. “That makes me very happy.”

“Me too,” she said as her eyes drifted shut, but then thoughts of his resistance to them doing this.

“Brad, I knew you wanted me even from that first day we met, but you resisted.”

“At first, you did too.” He paused and continued. “I admit I wanted you from the beginning, so I decided not to rush things,” he said and smoothed her hair.

What he said was true. “Oh, you mean our pact not to get involved because of our jobs, but what changed?”

“I don’t know, but I guess it just seemed as if we both wanted to take things slow, and then I was just tired of waiting, then I made my move.” He smiled at her look.

“Oh, you mean our trip to find Mark?” She smiled remembering.

“Oh, yeah; that was it for me.”

She smiled and closed her eyes. “Me too.”

Each thinking of the past and how they had met, it didn’t surprise either of them that they would be cautious and worried about making a commitment. They fought it as best they could, but now there they were, making a valiant effort to take that risk and loving it.

Katherine sighed against his chest and whispered his name; minutes later she fell asleep.

Much later that night, Katherine awakened slowly; Brad was mumbling in his sleep. She didn’t understand the words.

She shook his shoulder. “Brad; Brad, wake up!”

He opened his eyes and looked around. “Katherine? Where am I?”

“You’re with me,” she replied. “Was it a bad dream?”

He rubbed his tired eyes and sighed. “Yes, but I’ve had it before.”

“Do you want to talk about it?” She asked and stroked his chest.

He took her hand. “No, not really,” he replied and pulled her close. “It’s almost dawn and we have work to do.”

She snuggled closer. “Oh, you mean him?”

“Yeah, we need to return him to the states, but it could get complicated.”

The next morning, Steve and Lisa exited their suite, but in hallway, they spotted their boss, Bert. He stood there as if they weren't expecting to see him.

Bert shook his head and came forward. “Well, aren’t you a sight for these sore eyes?” Steve out his hand; Bert shook it. Then he gave him a hug. “Welcome back to the living.”

“Thanks, Bert.” He sighed. “Lisa and I know we took things a bit too far, but we got our man.”

“What man?” Bert asked.

“Let’s go back inside,” Lisa suggested.

Once inside their suite, Steve explained who his captor was and what he wanted from him.

“He’s Mark Anderson’s half-brother?” Steve nodded.

“He kept Steve as a prisoner for months. Our problem now is how do we return him to the states?” Lisa asked.

“Don’t worry about that; I’ll take care of it. I just need to make a few calls. Do you have his papers?”

“Yes, we do,” Lisa said and retrieved them from her bag. “He has to be desperate to do something like this. He followed Steve, kept him in some hell hole away from me, away his family. He needs to die.”

Steve put his arm around her shoulder. “Besides kidnapping, extortion, spying with no real agency behind him; those are just a few,” Steve said, getting upset.

“Are you sure he’s not with the CIA, maybe, Homeland Security?”

“Maybe; I truly have idea who he’s working for, but he was determined to get ‘top’ secret information from me. It seemed like the only thing he wanted and needed.”

“That is odd,” Bert commented and stroked his chin.

“As per Mitch, Steve’s brother, our flight back on his jet leaves at Noon today.”

“You two head back but leave Anderson with me. I’ll take care of it.”

Relieved, they shook his hand. “Thanks, Bert.”

After they left their suite, Katherine and Brad came out, bags packed and ready to go.

Bert headed to Mitch’s room. He knocked but Mitch didn’t know Bert. “Can I help you?”

I’m Bert Young.” Mitch frowned. “I’m with the Company and Steve and Lisa directed me here to retrieve Bobby Anderson and return to the states.”

“I’ll just call them to make sure. Can I see some identification? I can’t just hand him over to a stranger. We went through a lot of trouble to catch this guy.”

Bert showed him his identification. “Go ahead; I’ll wait.” Bert spotted Bobby sitting on the floor by the closet.

“Lisa, it’s Mitch. There’s a guy here wanting to take Anderson. Yes, that’s his name. Alright, I’ll release him.” He hung up. “You can take him.”

Bert helped Bobby to his feet and then they were gone. In the elevator, Bert was fuming. “You had one job.”

Bobby hung his head. They left the elevator, exited the lobby of the hotel, and Bobby was led over to a waiting black SUV.

Katherine and Brad left the second elevator and saw Bobby being led into a waiting vehicle.

“Who was that guy with Bobby and why isn’t he in handcuffs?” Brad wondered.

“Hey, guys, what’s up?” Lisa asked as they exited the elevator.

“Who’s that guy with Bobby?” Brad asked.

“That’s Bert, he’s our boss at the Company,” Steve replied.

“Bobby wasn’t in handcuffs,” Katherine said. “Something’s fishy.”

“Oh, no,” Steve murmured.

“What is it?” Lisa asked.

“Bobby threatened to put me in a prison if I didn’t comply with his demands to give him 'top secrets.' Then he showed me identification papers and they were mine. I couldn’t believe it so, I asked him where he had gotten those documents. He avoided my question, then I said I would give him my secrets, of course, I couldn’t do it. There’s only one way he could have gotten those documents… Bert.”

“Does that mean?” Lisa couldn’t say it.

“Yes, Bert is backing Bobby and why he kidnapped me, but why?” Steve asked.

“Okay, we have to trend carefully. Bert has been with the Company for over twenty years,” Lisa said.

“Let’s get on board. I have no idea where Bert is taking Bobby, but we can’t do anything about that now; they’re gone.”

“But he can’t stay here; he needs to return Bobby to America eventually,” Katherine said.

“We should leave, but as I said, be careful and mind what you say to anyone,” Steve said.

“Where’s Mitch?” Lisa asked.

"He’s at the airport to meet with the pilots about the flight plan,” Katherine replied.

“Good; the sooner we leave, the sooner we can find out what’s really going on with Bert, our ’trusted colleague.” Those words left a bad taste in Steve’s mouth. Fuming inside, they headed for the airport. Bert had a lot to answer for and he would find out the truth, one way or another. He almost lost his life dealing with Bobby and Mark. But how does Mark fit into this? He wondered.

An hour later, they boarded Mitch’s jet and headed back to America.
