A good start

Hi! You have a good start to the story here. However, there is very little so far to comment on the plot. I will come back for another review when there's more. Going forward, I would just suggest to keep a close eye on the grammar and punctuation.

A promising start

Hi! There's only two chapters here so far...so not much to talk about yet. I am sure I will end up coming back to see what happened! Just the one critique (which plagues all us writers)...grammar and punctuation! :-)

Nice!

Hi! I really enjoyed reading your story. It can be vastly improved once you get your grammar and punctuation down pat.

Good work!

Hi Craig!

I really like your idea of how and why humans end up on Awen, and am looking forward to seeing what happens next. There are a few plot holes early on, like why did they not build shelters when they had scientific data on the flare activity. But overall, I love your description of the phenomenon! If I can make a small suggestion: sometimes the narrative is a bit too adjective-heavy...you know what I mean?
To sum it up, though, I really like how this story is going!

In the Gap

This is actually the first novel of this genre that I have read. I must say that the author has set bar really high! The characters are so well developed and the plot is revealed slowly in a very engaging way!

Love the story!

This such an incredibly well thought out plot, it is amazing. The characters feel real and the way the story is told is so unpretentious, it feels like the author is actually 'telling' the story!

A thrilling ride

This is a fantastic story, told in a very engaging manner. The narrative flows smoothly all throughout and is very engaging! I am yet to finish reading the whole story, but this is a story which will keep nagging at you if you don't conclude it!

Nice plot!

I think you have a wonderful plot going on here. It is, however, hampered by gramma/punctuation mistakes. The writing style is actually also very nice. If you could look at rephrasing certain areas, it will be a much better reading experience (eyes sparkled by sunlight in chapter 1, poured cookies in chapter 3).

oh my god!

Generally, the one genre that I avoid is horror. Just not my cup of tea. But this one just grips you and does not let go. It was like I was compelled to complete the story! The flow in the storytelling is amazing. The only suggestion I have is that, perhaps, there should have been a bit of a lean-in into what the 'reasons' for the system were. Like a teaser, to make the reader feel that Quinlyn's story will have an explanation to the teaser...do you know what I mean?

Oh Wow!

this story is soo good! The last chapter nearly had me hyperventilating! I look forward to seeing where it goes! My only critique would be to perhaps rephrase certain sentences (e.g. 'both trying to feign a nonplus disposition' and a few others).

I thoroughly enjoyed the poetic style and the story! The only suggestion I would make is to proof-read.
