The plot is certainly cliche, but I don't think that's always a bad thing. I know I've enjoyed numerous cliche books that have really blown me away, either because of a unique twist or great writing style.

However, the sentence structure in this book is not great, and neither is the grammar. I find myself having to re-read sentences to fully understand what the author is trying to convey. The writing style is relatively boring, and there really isn't a satisfying flow to the sentences.
Also, I noticed that the author sometimes writes Silvic and other times it's Slivic. It may seem like a small detail but it comes across really sloppy and unprofessional. I know I had issues like that when I first started writing so I understand, but it's a beginner mistake that needs to be edited.
Overall not the worst, but the plot isn't unique enough to make me want to read through the poor/ boring writing.
