Super Patriots of Motherland

What a story.!What the story portrays makes me cry.The story paints a very realistic picture of what life is like under a dictatorship.I found myself hating the character of Cde Dunatun and falling for the great character of Chems Mhepo despite his weaknesses..The reader can truly relate the story to what they experience, read in papers or watch on television news channels. What a disappointment it is for a newly liberated country to plunge into poverty and turmoil under a new leadership that the people hoped would improve freedoms and economic prospects. This country called Motherland can be found on any continent.I get touched when I read about the killings of people by the dictator, Dunatun simply because the people have chosen to elect a new and different leader from him, what a shame. If this story were to be made into a movie I guarantee the motion picture would be spell binding.. The role played by the police and army in this story is gory and scary! The army and police chose to protect the evil dictator instead of the people.,.The role of the mediator also shows readers how at times dictators find sympathy from other people, what a shame. The scene on the Mermaid pool and the Rovambira hills shows some great cultural aspects of the people of Motherland.A great novel indeed.
