I was a Correctional RN in maximum prisons for years and I encountered some of the most dangerous and famous criminals in the United States. I found the female prisoners to be the most cunning and evil. So this is what I know and what I write about. Rags In The Closet is about bullying, child abuse and the personal growth of a female serial killer.
Just stopped to, look through this hole in the fourth wall for a second, as the hardest character to introduce is often yourself....
So much rides on introduction, so to put this into a perspective other authors might understand... without making myself look like low brow philistine.
"Set the scene" they say. but how do you introduce the concept of a person without spoiling the mystery of "why this person".
.my name is J'mar Tarafa, (pen name C.V. Grimms - the only identity ... See More that really matters due to the exilion data hacks) . My book is Eidolon Atomic, and my story is just getting started.
My book is a scifi, but that doesn't make it any less real, as it delves into the deep end of the very definition of scifi.
I extend the offer to read my book, to anyone who has the time and patience, and if you are looking for an interesting book written by a rather peculiar person. then my book may be just what you need.
I do love having conversations, even though my Girlfriend keeps telling me that I'm way to nice, and need to stop helping people with their stories, so I can work on mine, and finish the book series she started dating me for, to begin with.
So, don't be shy, and I wont either.

Hello, I go by Monos. I'm a new author, currently working on marketing a Medical Horror series. Besides that, I'm reworking some old work to share with the we.
I'm left-hand dominant, love snakes, the colour indigo, and art.
For reading, I'm open to review short stories or flash fiction. I'm open to any genre, though I love Suspense, Horror, Fantasy, Preturnatural/Paranormal, and LGBTQ+ stories. Don't be afraid to message me, but only if you can take blunt criticism. I ... See More don't expect a review on one of my stories in return but I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi my name is paige and i have always used writing as a medium to make sense of the bad moments i encounter. some are really rather dark but i am looking for someone who can look past that to beta them i will then publish them here if they are deemed suitable. By the way i am of 16 years of age
Hey guys! I'm thirteen years old and love to write, but the only thing I've ever actually finished is a totally junk 33 page story I wrote when I was seven. Now I'm in the middle of writing what I like to call a middle-grade novel, but I'm horrible at writing anything more than 30,000 words so it's probably not going to be very long. It's called The Latin Word for Love; please read and critique if you have time. Here's the link: ... See More https://www.inkitt.com/stories/children/162936?started_reading=true. Thank you!

Hullo, I am Brenn Lee Crow, and I am here to try to get published as I am sure many are. I actually have a few pieces on amazon for sale (under my given name, Lindsey Crow) but I think this way may work better. I think it is more fun and interesting anyway.
I love animals, science, and spirituality.
I am forever trash for the Warriors series by Erin Hunter but there are many good books I love too!
Anyone, I hope to have some fun here and maybe make something of myself!
Hello! I'm Kathy Smith and like many here, I presume, am trying to get my book(s) noticed. I wrote off and on for years but never completed anything. I just could not get past that school-taught way of writing: create an outline, blah, blah, blah...I listened to a radio interview in November 2016 with Diane Gabaldon (Outlander, Lord John Grey) and she said a writer has to write in whatever way they can. There is no right or wrong way. So I started writing in the only way that makes sense to me- ... See More just write. In about four months I finished the book that's on this site. I'll polish it more but I have also started book 2 of the three book series. Now, I will be happy to do a tit-for-tat, you read my book, I'll read yours. But know that you should only read my book if time-travel, fiction, romance is something you like to read. Me and book reading don't get along well. I am slightly dyslexic, therefore, a slow reader. So, if you have something for me to read in return, it needs to be fiction, sci-fi, comedy, romance, historic fiction. Glad I found this site. Hope to meet some fellow writers and work together.
My name is Fox. I am new to this site but I am a long time writer/reader. I love stories with adventure and magic. I have two stories started, one of which is complete. I would like to write and illustrate for young children's books, as well as for young adults. When it comes to ideas and stories I am a bit slow. It's usually because I worry that I'm not explaining the storyline in a way that everyone will understand. I actually based my story, True Love in the "A Fox's Tale" ... See More series, off of this fear. I want to create stories because I want to transport others the way I was when I was little. I want to do a good job and expand myself to find out more about what other people like to read. I look forward to reading more and learning along the way. Thank you very much for your time.
