A sexy, real, women's story!

This is a well written story with good pace throughout it. Gossip, fast dialogue and interesting friendships keep the story well and truly alive, and the sexy scenes were well done. My interest peaked when a twist came before a climactic ending!
An enjoyable read.

A tale of dragons and heroism.

I loved 'Dragons Blood' from start to finish. The pace was excellent, the story unfolded nicely, with a detailed backdrop of a changing land, ranging from forests to desert, in a old world kingdom. The imaginative way that Ellie changes and the relationship between Ella and the dragons comes into its own, in this riveting tale. A genuine treat of a read.

A trippy and enjoyable read!

Dead or Alive is totally different to anything I could ever have imagined to write. The story gripped me in a way that I didn't envisage and I found myself fascinated. The plot twists and turns were unexpected and kept me wanting to know where everything was heading. I was surprised and delighted at the mid point and when the ending was revealed, I truly liked (all) of the characters. Overall, I was very satisfied and would highly recommend this read.
William - If I may be so bold: The only change I would make to your story is to reshape chapter one, to the extent of replacing it with one or two paragraphs at the start of what is chapter 2, then converting that into chapter one. I put three stars at the beginning, but if this had been achieved, it would have been 5,

An intriguing tale!

This has the makings of a great read. Imaginative, detailed and totally different to anything I have read before, I loved the way that energy could be harnessed into a weapon and enjoyed the fight scene especially. Once finished, this will not fail to be a great read.

An action packed read!

-- 'Free will is a funny thing, even when people can do whatever they want, they repeat the same day over and over.'-- My favorite quote from The Last Coal Trapper.
Great dialogue along with a superb flow of action from the start kept me engrossed in 'The Last Coal Trapper'. The relationships of all the characters are effortlessly easy to follow, and the tension stays strong. Leon Gower, (the author,) manages to make light of situations in a clever way, even when the reader is gripped in intense moments. I could visualise this story so well, that I could 'see' it in my head as a film. Highly recommended for a modern-day, pacey read.
If there was anything to slightly change in my humble opinion, it would be to bring the reader in a little more gently at the start of chapter 7, and perhaps make the ending sooner, to keep pace with the rest of the story, With a little tweaking, this could be the next big film we all watch! Great stuff.

A truly immersive read.

The style and fluidity of Gracie's writing is very highly skilled in this intense story of revenge and endearment of family rivalry, and core values. Despite the love that Dominic feels for his country and crown, his pull towards justice entices the reader onwards and I found myself willing him to win, yet torn between both sides as the story unfolded. I enjoyed Larissa's character, and Cassidy's very much.
I have given four stars to the story overall and the plotline, as it is my belief, (without any criticism whatsoever to Gracie's excellent style,) that these are somewhat hindered by the repeats of continuous fighting between chapters 3-29. Despite these fabulous fighting scenes, I thought the ending left me personally satisfied.
I would perhaps not have the very first part before chapter one, as to me, it detracted from the story. In my opinion, be placed further into the story and the relationship, especially with the family and Jimmy, could have been brought to the fore more, so the reader could emote strongly with Dominic's feelings throughout the remainder of the story. There are a lot of main characters, beside Dominic and Cassidy, which sometimes left me confused as to who was who, and willed me to keep up with the plot. In this way it detracted somewhat from the story as I had to keep reminding myself about who was who, but as for the main characters, I could enjoy them easily, and this brought the flow into things.
I think with a little professional tweaking, and perhaps two novels out of the one, this is an excellent saga.
Well done, Gracie for such a professional approach and likeable read!
