Enjoyable

Pacey

I enjoyed this story. For 41 chapters the pace is good through out. Only around chapter 20 or so did I start to think 'get on with it'. Not sure what the introduction of the other school gang members did for the plot. Was Tyrone really smart enough to topple Mackie? Was he that motivated? I thought he was more a pyscho.

As a whole it kept me engaged and there are very few mistakes. Well done.

These Lovely Forms

Finished the book last week. I thought the main characters were fine. Only John, he gave up too easily. I thought at times there was too much text in between the dialog. Sometimes the additional text distracted from the conversation. Not sure of the ending. Perhaps a little more interaction with her parents when Alli returned. Plus, did I miss something? What was with Alli seeing another girl will silver eyes? It didn't make sense if Alli was going to be the exception.
Anyway, I liked it overall. Good pace and easy read. Cheers. Ade.
